November 2020 Newsletter

Our Thanksgiving Message

To our Valued Customers,

What a year!  2020 has proven to be a year we will all remember for the rest of our lives. We faced some challenges and worked many long days in order to keep everyone on the water, but we also experienced unprecedented growth. The most cherished aspect of growth is to the Transition Family.  We are deeply grateful for each of you, our wonderful customers, who we are privileged to serve. We thank you for your support during these different and unique times. One of the best possible outcomes from this year is the extra quality time spent with family.  We are in an industry that has seen a lot of change but our focus has remained on helping families create memories on the water!

As we evaluated the challenges we worked through this year: long lead times on product shipments, backups in the service department, and maintaining good communication through it all, we saw room for improvement. We are excited to announce that we have invested in new management software that will allow us to better serve each of you. We will have a bit of a learning curve during the implementation period, but we are both excited and ready for the possibilities it will bring for future service and productivity to our Transition Family.

As the season winds down and we start to focus on the holidays, please know that we appreciate the experiences that have come in helping each of you to get out and enjoy the water.  Life has provided Transition Watersports with some wonderful opportunities for which we all are very grateful.  We hope it goes without saying, but thank you for your patience as we have worked together through this year.  Thank you for trusting us with your boating needs and know we look forward to helping you and your friends for years to come!

As we give thanks this holiday season, we are forever grateful for the time we knew Greg Graham, Ocala Police Chief, pilot, skydiver, and waterskiing enthusiast. 5 Reasons For Boaters to Be Thankful This Year

2020 has been a tough year, but there are still many reasons to be thankful, especially if you are a boater. Discover Boating shares these reasons boaters can count their blessings this season.

1) A renewed love for boating and the outdoors. The boating industry saw a huge increase in sales this year as more and more people turned to outdoor activities.

2) Boating is the perfect social distancing activity. Spending the day on the water with your family turned out to be more than a weekend treat this year, as scores of families turned to boating to stay safe and get out of the house.

3) A place for fun family bonding time. Shelter at home orders, remote working, and virtual school meant families experienced a huge increase in time together. Boating families have been able to take advantage of that time to make lasting memories in an otherwise difficult year.

4) Versatile boats mean more to experience on the water. Boats are becoming more versatile than ever, allowing multi-uses like fishing, comfortable cruising, skiing, and boarding are more accessible.

5) Boating for the mind, body, and soul. Boating is more than a sport, more than a way to have fun. Being outdoors is good for our mental health, and engaging in activities in nature helps us feel grounded and recharges our batteries.
